Fits 1 A4 pageBuilt for Australian hiring, not American templates
Most free builders are US products with a photo box and a Letter-sized page. This one assumes you are applying in Australia.
The page is 210 × 297 mm, so a printed copy lines up with every other document in an Australian interview folder.
One plain line — citizen, permanent resident or visa — placed under your contact details, without naming a visa subclass.
Australian recruiters discard photos and personal details under anti-discrimination practice. The form never asks for them.
Text only: no tables, no text boxes, no icons, no columns. Applicant tracking systems read it in the same order you do.
Free-text state entry is accepted and normalised to NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT or NT.
Seek and LinkedIn both have paste-only fields. One tap copies the same resume as plain text.
How it works
Name, contact, summary, roles, education and skills. Sections stay open as you work, and every field is optional except your name and email.
The page updates as you type, with hairlines marking each page break and a badge telling you whether it fits one or two pages.
Pick “Save as PDF” in the print dialog, or copy the plain-text version for a job-board paste field. No account, no watermark.
FAQ
Is it really free, with no sign-up?
Yes. There is no account, no email gate, no trial and no watermark. The builder runs entirely in your browser, so there is nothing for us to charge for.
Where is my data stored?
Nowhere. Nothing is uploaded — not your name, not your phone number. Close the tab and it is gone, so download the PDF before you leave.
How do I save the PDF on a phone?
Tap Download PDF / Print. On Android choose “Save as PDF”. On iPhone the share sheet opens — tap “Save to Files” (or “Print”, then pinch the preview and share it). Everything stays free either way.
Should my resume be one page or two?
One page if you have under about five years of experience, two if you have more. The badge above the preview tells you where you stand, and the builder never squeezes text below 10pt to hide the problem.
What should the work-rights line say?
Keep it to citizen, permanent resident, or visa with full or restricted work rights. Never quote a visa subclass or an expiry date — the four options in the form are the phrasings recruiters expect.
Do I need an Australian phone number or address?
A local mobile and a suburb help, but an overseas number still prints correctly — the mobile field accepts +61 and international forms and warns you if the format looks off.
