Next, pick a class if you want the name to carry a thematic flavor; options include Fighter, Wizard, Rogue, Cleric, Ranger, Bard, and Barbarian, with Any as the default. For most players, leaving class on Any is the fastest route, but we found that pairing Bard with Elvish ancestry tends to produce softer, more musical results, while Barbarian paired with Half-Orc skews toward harder consonants.

Tick or untick the surname checkbox depending on whether you want a full name or just a given name. The count selector lets you generate 5, 10, or 20 names at once — we default to 10 because that is usually enough to spark a decision without overwhelming the screen. When you hit 'Generate names,' the tool renders a grid of name cards on the right side, each tagged with ancestry and style and equipped with its own copy button. If you want the whole batch at once, the 'Copy all' button dumps everything as a newline-separated list to your clipboard.
