Video Merger Studio
Join 2–6 clips into one continuous video, right in this tab. Your footage is decoded and re-recorded on this device — nothing is uploaded, nothing leaves your machine.
1. Build your sequence
Up to 6 clips, 200 MB each. Drag a row (or use ↑ ↓) to set the order.
0 clips · 0:00 total
Add 2 to 6 clips to get started.
2. Record & download
Keep this tab open and the screen on while the export runs.

Your merged file appears here with its duration, resolution, size and container.
This browser cannot record video from a canvas
Merging needs MediaRecorder and canvas.captureStream(). Both ship in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari 15+. Please open this page in one of those browsers — no file was uploaded or discarded here, nothing left your device.
How it works
Pick 2–6 videos from your device. Each file is read with a local object URL — there is no upload step, not even a hidden one.
Drag rows or use the arrow buttons to set playback order, then pick 720p, 1080p or match-first-clip.
Each clip plays into a shared canvas at 30 fps with its audio mixed in. MediaRecorder writes one file you download instantly.
Why it stays private
The tool makes zero network requests with your media. Splicing happens in this tab, so private footage never leaves your machine.
Mixed aspect ratios are centred on the canvas with black bars, so a portrait clip and a landscape clip both keep their true shape.
Each clip's audio is routed into the same recording stream through an AudioContext. If audio capture fails, you still get a clean video-only file and a note saying so.
A 3-minute sequence takes roughly 3 minutes to record. A live bar shows elapsed and total time, and Cancel stops everything cleanly.
The recorder picks the best container your browser actually supports — WebM (VP9/VP8 + Opus) on Chrome, Edge and Firefox, MP4 on iOS and Safari.
Clips are capped at 6 files and 200 MB each, long or heavy sequences warn before starting, and object URLs are released when the export ends.
FAQ
Is anything uploaded to a server?
No. Files are read with object URLs inside the page, drawn to a canvas and recorded by MediaRecorder. There is no upload endpoint and no external request carrying your video.
Will the merged file be MP4?
It depends on your browser. Chrome, Edge and Firefox record WebM (VP9 or VP8 with Opus); Safari and iOS record MP4. The result summary always tells you the exact container you got.
Why does the export take as long as the video?
Clips are played in real time and captured frame by frame, which is what keeps the whole job inside your browser. There is no faster offline pass without a server.
A clip shows "cannot read" — what now?
That codec is not decodable in this browser (common with some HEVC or AV1 phone exports). Remove the clip to continue, or convert it first — the merge stays blocked so you never get a file with a hole in it.
Can I leave the tab while it records?
Better not to. Background tabs throttle animation frames, so recording can stall or truncate. Keep the tab in the foreground and the screen awake until the download appears.
Is my audio preserved?
Yes, when the source clip has an audio track and your browser allows canvas audio mixing. If mixing is unavailable, the export still completes video-only and the summary says audio was omitted.
