16
6-64 characters. Indian banking portals commonly require 12-14.
1-20 candidate passwords at once.
Unchecking every set disables generation.
Removes l, I, 1, O and 0 to reduce mistyping.
Optional: type characters to remove, e.g. quotes.
Optional: a substring every password must contain.

Set your rules and press Generate passwords.

Everything runs on this device — generated passwords are never stored or transmitted.

How it works

1 · Pick your rules

Choose the length, character sets and any characters to skip. Banking-aware defaults are pre-set.

2 · Generate securely

Your browser rolls cryptographically secure random numbers locally — nothing is sent to any server.

3 · Copy and use it

Tap any password to copy it, reveal it with the eye icon, then paste it where you need it.

Built for security, designed for India

🔒 Truly random

Uses your browser's crypto.getRandomValues, not predictable math.

💻 Nothing leaves your device

No server, no clipboard history, no tracking — great for UPI and bank logins.

📏 Live strength meter

Every candidate shows entropy bits and an estimated crack time.

👁️ Avoid mistyping

Optionally strips l, I, 1, O and 0 so passwords survive paper notes and phone calls.

🏦 Banking-aware defaults

Lengths and pools tuned for Indian banking, UPI and government portals.

🔑 One rule per portal

Exclude quotes or special symbols a specific site rejects, and require your own token.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my password generated?+

Entirely in your browser. The page never talks to a server for generation, so your password cannot be intercepted or stored.

Is it safe for banking and UPI logins?+

Yes. Longer passwords with upper-case, lower-case, digits and symbols are what most bank portals expect. Use 12-14 characters for Indian banking minimums and never reuse a password across portals.

What does the strength meter mean?+

It estimates entropy in bits — how many guesses an offline attacker would need. Crack time assumes roughly ten billion guesses per second. Excellent (100+ bits) is effectively uncrackable.

Are passwords saved anywhere?+

No. Results exist only in the page's memory and disappear when you close or refresh the tab. Keep them in your own password manager instead.

Why can I add a token that must be included?+

Some organisations require a fixed word or employee ID inside the password. The generator inserts your token at a random position and fills the rest randomly.

What if copy does not work on my phone?+

On very old browsers the page falls back to selecting the password and shows a long-press / Ctrl+C hint so you can still copy manually.
