Is the USD → SAR rate the one I will actually get?
The live rate here is the mid-market rate. Banks, exchange houses and remittance apps add a margin, so the rate on your receipt is usually a little worse — enter their rate in the manual field to see the real payout.
Which currencies can I convert?
USD, SAR, EUR, GBP and EGP in any direction. Cross-rates such as EUR → SAR are derived in your browser from the same USD-based rate set.
Is my amount sent anywhere?
No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser. Only the rate request leaves your device — never the amount you type.
Why did my last valid result stay on screen in red-ish grey?
When the amount is empty, zero, negative or over 1,000,000,000, conversion is blocked and the previous answer stays visible but dimmed so you never lose your place.
